BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Ronnie London, Chairman of the Board
Mr. London is a graduate of the University of Georgia and is a retired agricultural education teacher who devoted over 30 years to public education and working with the agricultural community in White and surrounding counties.  Ronnie is a member of the White County Water Authority, a former member of the White County Planning Commission,  and he serves as a deacon at New Bridge Baptist Church.  He and his wife and have two grown children and three grandchildren.
   
Paul Seabolt, Vice Chairman
Mr. Seabolt and his family operate a poultry, beef, and dairy replacement operation in the southern end of White County.  The Seabolt family harvest and market hay, silage, and vegetables.  Paul and his wife, Bonita, have one son.  Paul serves as vice-president of White County Farm Bureau and serves on the White County Chamber of Commerce Agri-Business Committee and the Farm-City Week Planning Committee.  In addition, Paul teaches agricultural awareness classes at school agricultural days. 
   
Mark Skelton, Secretary
Mr. Skelton operates a breeder hen farm.  He and his wife, Dana, are involved parents of two daughters helping with school and church activities.  They live in the eastern part of White County on the family's farm.
   
Mitchel Barrett, Board Member
Mr. Barrett is a retired middle school principal who operates a beef cattle farm in the northern part of White County. Mitchel has servered as superintendent for the Mountain Education System, a charter school system offering alternative educational instruction.  He and his wife, Linda, have two daughters and two grandchildren. 
   
Ashley Helton, Board Member
Mr. Helton operates a registered Angus cattle operation and works for an area dairy replacement farm.  Ashley is a past board member White County Chamber of Commerce, and currently serves on the Chamber Agri-business committee.  He also is president of the White County FFA Alumni Chapter and coaches the  Dairy Show Team.  Ashley and his wife, Angie, have one daughter - Brooke, and they are members Zion Church.
   
Charles McClure, Board Member
Mr. McClure, a former dairyman, currently runs a commercial cow/calf herd and has  a custom hay operation.  Charles and his wife, Lisa, have two sons.   They actively volunteer within the school system and work on different community projects.   Charles and his family are also avid outdoorsmen. 
   
Gilbert Barrett, President/CEO
Barrett brings a valuable farmer’s perspective to his role the White County Farmers Exchange.  Gilbert runs a grandparent-seed stock poultry operation and maintains a commercial cow/calf operation along with a small purebred Simmental herd.  He also grows hay and other feeds to sustain the livestock.  Aside from his duties as President of the co-op,  Gilbert is active in civic, church and professional organizations.  Gilbert serves as President on the Habersham County Farm Bureau Board of Directors, as a supervisor for the Upper Chattahoochee Soil and Water Conservation District, and is a member of the Habersham County Schools Board of Education.  Gilbert and his wife, Donna, have three children.  They are members of Chattahoochee Baptist where Gilbert teaches the Adult Sunday School class and serves as a deacon.
